Marshfields is a mixed, day, community special school. We cater for 170 learners aged from 11 to 19 each of whom has a Statement of Special Educational Need, primarily for moderate learning difficulties.
Marshfields is a SHAPED community. In all that we do, we strive to be:
Year 11 and post 16 can collect their results on results day Thursday 25th August. The school will be open at 10am till midday.
We hope as many students as possible can attend to collect the fantastic qualifications they have earned through lots of hard work and dedication.
On Thursday 16th June,
Mr Stafford and Miss Richardson took 11 pupils to an outdoor Athletics Tournament in Cambridge. All pupils represented the school particularly well in terms of their attitude and behaviour. A number of our pupils came away with gold medals: Maryann achieved fastest year 8 100m, Karim Chan and Jason Massey also won gold in the Boys year 10 and 11 100m respectively. Well done to all.
This year we are therefore going to be celebrating Healthy Living Week in which we will be completing a range of activities with the students to promote healthy living; including elements of keeping physically fit, a healthy and balanced diet and also looking after their emotional wellbeing.
