Marshfields is a mixed, day, community special school. We cater for 170 learners aged from 11 to 19 each of whom has a Statement of Special Educational Need, primarily for moderate learning difficulties.

Congratulations to 23 students who not only worked very hard to achieve a GCSE grade who also received local recognition for their hard work! Chris Rourke, Jack Crossland, Ismail Shadid and Hanna Meek were pictured in the local Peterborough Telegraph on Thursday September 15th.
Following the success of Marshfields of being rewarded £1,000 from the British Nutrition Foundation for the healthy living week that took place between 20th – 24th June 2016, Marshfields were also pictured once again in the Peterborough Telegraph on Thursday 22nd September.

Marshfields are proud to announce that following the success of our “Healthy Living Week” see “Past News and Events” for more information, Marshfields have been awarded £1.000 from the British Nutrition Foundation, a big huge thank you to everyone involved who made that week that bit more healthy and special.
During September Peterborough City Council have commissioned Applied Theatre specialists Alter Ego to tour schools in Peterborough with their highly innovative production “Chelsea’s Choice”.
The play will be shown to students in years 10 to post 16 at Marshfield’s School on Monday 12th September at 9.30am.
