Sir Issac Newton
Year 9 studied the life and works of Sir Isaac Newton as a non-fiction study in English and as part of their ‘Forces’ topic in Science. We compared different accounts of his life, made notes from evidence and researched him online and in our library.
Finally we went to Woolsthorpe Manor near Grantham. This was Sir Isaac Newton’s childhood home. As well as seeing the house, we spent time in the Science Barn
