About the School
Marshfields is a mixed, day, Community Special School that has Specialist Schools status in Technology. It caters for 159 learners aged from 10 to 19 each of whom has a Statement of Special Educational Need, primarily for moderate learning difficulties.
In addition there is a 3 year partnership course with Peterborough Regional College for approximately 30 post 16 learners. These learners can be admitted with or without a statement but have a history of significant, additional educational need.
The school has excellent facilities including generously proportioned, well equipped classrooms, a Computer Suite, a Library, a Science lab, Art room, Design Technology workshop, a Music/Drama room, Food Technology room, Gymnasium, Library, Community Room and heated outdoor Swimming Pool.
The school offers all its students a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum including full entitlement to National Curriculum.
