Dear Parents / Carers
Welcome to Marshfields School. We are a mixed Special School offering education for students 11-19 years old with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
We pride ourselves on the excellent relationships we build with our parents and carers. Our aim is to ensure that parents/ carers feel valued, they are trusted and they are respected. The needs of the student’s come first and this will form the basis of our communication.
We operate an open door policy at school, that welcomes parents / carers. We are here to support both students’ needs as well as parent’s / carers needs.
Parents including prospective parents are welcome to visit the school at any time.
Please phone the school on 01733 568058 to make an appointment.
The first point of contact should be your Child’s Form tutor. Other members of staff, including myself as Headteacher are also available.
We are fortunate to have Paula Elton who is our dedicated Family Partnership Worker. Further information can be found in this area of the website named Support For Parents.
We hold a regular Café on a Friday morning where parents / carers and friends are invited to attend.
Our job is to help your child achieve the very best they can whilst they are at Marshfields School and together with your help, we will enable our students to achieve their full potential.
May we ask all parent/carer's to complete the following survey below so that we may get your views on the SEND services and Parent Carer Support.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
